Modeling Opportunities
At Dancing Cranes Salon & Apothecary, we believe in sharing our years of knowledge and experience with new talent. We are continually learning and growing in our art which ensures an environment that is lively, creative and full of new ideas. Our training program teaches strong technical skills, and exceptional customer service. The new talent will work with our senior stylists four days a week and attend class on Wednesdays. On this day, our new talent is given the opportunity to perfect their technique and customer service skills by scheduling models for appointments. To complete the program, the new talent must make their way through each level by demonstrating technical skills with models. As the new talent progresses through the program, they are able to schedule more model appointments. Ultimately, after they have passed all the levels, they are given the opportunity to cut and color as a stylist and then a senior stylist at Dancing Cranes Salon & Apothecary.

Completion of modeling form does not guarantee you will be contacted for an appointment. Students have strict requirements they must meet for their class, and space is limited. If you have not heard from anyone within three months, please submit another form.
Requirements for being a model
- Appointments take 2–3 hours for cuts and 2–4 hours for color
- 48 hour notice of cancellation
- No children can be brought in during appointment
- Models must be at least 13 years of age
- Open minded to changing haircut

Model Appointments
Appointments with our new talent always begin with a thorough consultation, and include a scalp massage, technical haircut and a finishing style. We ask you to keep an open mind and remember that this is a learning situation. These appointments give new talent an opportunity for hands on training. Due to the importance of this program, we encourage promptness and patience regarding your appointment.
